CONTACT + FAQ
What tools do you use?
Photoshop 2020 CC, Autodesk Maya 2019, and a Huion Kamvas Pro 13. All my work is digital.
What brushes do you use?
I stick to Feverpaint's brush set and Vesner's Lazy Brush Set.
How long do paintings take you to finish?
Depends on the painting in question - sometimes a day, sometimes a few days. I'm a full time student and work as well, so I work on art when it isn't class related or otherwise when possible. Timelines can be discussed if there's a deadline a painting needs to be finished by; I am currently working on four projects all at once, give or take, and commissions are a part of that juggle.
How can I get a commission?
See the commission page for more information. You can email me or DM at my listed forms of contact.
How many references do I send?
All! There is no such thing as too many references. The best references are prioritized in order: conformation, markings, desired pose, miscellaneous. It is okay if you don't have a lot of references, alternatively, but the more the better. My one request is that the photos do not be filtered.
Do you send me a physical copy? Do I get files?
When a commission is finished, I send the digital nontransparent and transparent .PNG files only. That way, people can use their art to be placed on stickers, prints, pillows, etc. As long as the art isn't being redistributed for sale, I'm fine with any way you use your commissioned piece.
How do I pay you?
All payments are made through Paypal or Venmo only.
When do I pay you?
Most commissions require payment after the initial sketch process is started. Payments MUST be made in full before I move on to finish the product unless otherwise agreed upon.
Can I use your art?
Use of original, un-purchased art is prohibited unless asked. (Usually I'll say yes, but ask first.) Art posted exclusively to Patreon or the patron discord stays there. Do not redistribute art for profit, clout, whatever it is people steal art for these days. All original works are subject to copyright.
Purchased art (commissions) are able to be made into whatever the commissioner would like. Socks, tattoos, Christmas sweaters, keychains, standees, whatever floats your boat. You CANNOT make money off of the art (selling merchandise) without prior royalty agreements before the art is completed. My signature stays on all public formats where it is on display, but I can amend it without a signature for items such as clothing or tattoos if desired. CREDIT IS MANDATORY AND MUST BE EASILY VISIBLE REGARDLESS OF FORMAT. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Intentionally hiding credit, not stating credit, and other forms of lack of credit where it is due will potentially result in termination of further business.
How do I get free art?
You don't. Very rarely I'll host an art giveaway, and at the end of the year I will usually post a sale, but I don't accept requests or exposure offers. You'll find yourself on the ForExposure twitter.
